iROKING. 100k to 1Mn monthly uniques in six months.

iROKING is something I rarely speak about. Since I divorced myself from the day to day management and handed over to Michael Ugwu (CEO) and Bastian who leads all technical things at iROKO, I have largely been watching from the sidelines as they have quietly built iROKING into arguably the largest player in the digital music space in Africa. I know many ‘claim’ to be number 1. They’re not. But it’s cool. We all have to make a little noise — it boosts one’s morale and all.
This morning we were just doing a near month’s end Google Analytics audit. Just checking where our numbers would be for the month etc. etc. I usually just check iROKOtv, but today I ran a quick search on iROKING and was totally blown away. Since the relaunch in October 2012 iROKING has basically been crushing it. It was around 100k uniques last time I checked in September or so. Now across the web and mobi...
